The 249go-228 is a lower directional TCAS antenna for aircraft collision avoidance systems. This L-band antenna operates at 1030/1090 MHz frequencies, working in tandem with upper TCAS arrays to provide omnidirectional surveillance coverage. Mounted on the fuselage underside, it connects to FAA-approved TCAS II processors and transponder equipment.
