The 2638011-1 is a flexible bonding jumper that establishes low-impedance electrical continuity between aircraft structure and equipment. This conductor prevents static charge buildup and electromagnetic interference (EMI) by creating a conductive path across hinges, mounts, and panel joints where movement would otherwise interrupt connection. Installed per FAA AC 43.13-1B bonding guidance using approved hardware on prepared surfaces, the jumper maintains electrical integrity throughout the airframe.
Common in general aviation and commercial aircraft where structural panels, access covers, and removable components require reliable grounding to the main fuselage.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
