The 2650-12 is a silicone-coated fiberglass firesleeve that protects aircraft hoses from flame and extreme heat in engine compartments. This thermal barrier shields fuel lines and other critical hoses from direct flame exposure during engine fire scenarios. Manufactured to SAE AS1072 specifications, sleeved assemblies qualify under AS1055 fire-resistance testing standards.
