The 29400-213 is a radio altimeter that measures aircraft height above ground level using radar signals in the 4.2–4.4 GHz band. During approach and landing, it supplies real-time altitude data to cockpit displays and ground proximity warning systems (GPWS/EGPWS). Built to FAA TSO-C87 and RTCA DO-160 standards for environmental durability.
