The 2h3-48 is a vacuum regulator for aircraft engine-driven pneumatic systems. This component maintains stable suction pressure to gyro instruments by limiting system vacuum to a preset range. Installed between the engine-driven pump and the instrument manifold, it prevents over-pressurization that could damage sensitive flight instruments.
Part of the Tempest 2H3 family with FAA PMA sub-component approval, it's commonly used on Cessna 172R/S aircraft. Installation and adjustment must follow the aircraft maintenance manual specifications and verified against the Illustrated Parts Catalog for compatibility.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the VACUUM REGULATOR against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The VACUUM REGULATOR is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
