The 3487-00-1 is a manual fuel selector valve that controls fuel supply routing from aircraft tanks to the engine. This detented valve operates in three positions: LEFT, RIGHT, and OFF, allowing pilots to select tank source or shut off fuel flow. The valve interfaces with AN-standard fuel line fittings and mounts between the fuel tanks and engine feed line.
Installation and rigging must follow the aircraft maintenance manual or FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance. Critical for fuel system safety and engine operation on general aviation aircraft.
