The 353-6481-130 is a silicon semiconductor diode for aircraft electrical systems. This device suppresses voltage spikes across relay coils in DC bus circuits, protecting sensitive avionics and control systems from transient damage. Installed in parallel with relay windings, the diode conducts reverse current when the relay de-energizes, clamping flyback voltage to safe levels.
Orientation by polarity is critical—cathode stripe must align per aircraft wiring diagrams. MIL-PRF-19500 qualified for aerospace reliability.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
