The 36-380000-3 is a 28 VDC alternator-output sensor for aircraft electrical systems. This sensor monitors alternator charging voltage and triggers the ALT warning annunciator when output drops below normal levels. Installed in the alternator circuit, it detects loss of charging and switches a signal to the aircraft's warning panel or annunciator controller.
