The 4002-8s is a stainless-steel Camloc quarter-turn stud for aircraft panel fastening. This stud mates with matching Camloc receptacles and grommets to provide quick-release access panel security. A single quarter turn locks or unlocks the connection, enabling rapid panel removal during maintenance and inspection.
