The 4002n3 is a protective grommet for aircraft wiring, tubing, and control cable penetrations through panels and bulkheads. This elastomer or edging sleeve reduces chafe damage and vibration wear where cables pass through structural openings. Installed in instrument panels, avionics racks, and fuselage bulkheads to prevent insulation degradation and maintain electrical integrity.
