The 409-93 is an airspeed indicator for aircraft pitot-static systems. This FAA TSO-C2d certified instrument displays indicated airspeed in knots by measuring differential pressure between pitot and static lines. Mounted on the instrument panel, it connects directly to pitot and static system tubing.
Installation requires proper line routing and panel marking per aircraft maintenance manual specifications and 14 CFR Part 27 requirements. Standard for general aviation and certified aircraft requiring accurate airspeed indication during all flight phases.
