The 41420-1128 is an ARC RT-359A receiver-transmitter for aircraft transponder systems. This avionics unit generates Mode A/C replies to ground radar interrogations for ATC surveillance identification. Installed as a line-replaceable component in the avionics rack alongside an altitude encoder, it connects to the aircraft antenna system.
