Product Description
The 4194a1 is a Microtemp thermal cutoff that interrupts electrical circuits when temperature exceeds its rated threshold. This one-time thermal fuse protects aircraft wiring and avionics equipment from thermal damage by opening the circuit during overheat conditions. Installed in series within wiring harnesses or electronic modules, the cutoff requires selection of the appropriate temperature rating per aircraft or component maintenance manual specifications.
Commonly used on Beechcraft King Air 200 and 300 aircraft. Once activated, the cutoff must be replaced to restore circuit function.
