The 4401-5 is an oxygen shutoff valve designed to isolate oxygen supply lines during maintenance or emergency procedures. This valve installs upstream of oxygen regulators in aircraft oxygen systems, controlling cylinder-to-manifold flow. The shutoff mechanism allows technicians to safely interrupt oxygen delivery for inspection, repair, or system troubleshooting without depressurizing entire lines.
Installation follows aircraft maintenance manual specifications and FAA AC 43.13-1B acceptable methods. Leak-check after installation to ensure system integrity. Complies with 14 CFR 25.1441 oxygen system requirements.
