Product Description
The 451-273 is an omni-directional VHF navigation antenna for VOR/LOC receiving on Piper PA-28 series aircraft. This receive-only antenna captures VHF navigation signals and routes them to avionics receivers through shielded coaxial cable. Mounted on the tail or fuselage per aircraft design specifications, the antenna integrates with the aircraft's navigation system for instrument approach and en route navigation.
Installation requires routing coax per FAA AC 43.13-2B standards and verification of applicable TSO and RTCA DO-160 requirements.
