The 454-659 is a thermal circuit breaker designed to interrupt power during overcurrent or short-circuit conditions in aircraft electrical systems. This trip-free device protects wiring and connected avionics or lighting circuits from overcurrent damage. Mounted directly on the power bus or panel per MS-series specifications, the breaker automatically trips when current exceeds its rated capacity, then resets manually after the fault is cleared.
Common in general aviation and corporate aircraft where reliable circuit protection is essential for safe electrical system operation.
