Product Description
The 456-015 is a hydraulic shimmy damper for Piper nose landing gear. This cylinder assembly mounts in the nose gear steering linkage to control nosewheel oscillation during taxi, takeoff, and landing. By resisting rapid yaw movements while allowing normal steering input, the damper prevents dangerous shimmy vibrations that can damage the gear and structure.
