The 51214-117 is a continuous-loop fire detection element for aircraft engine fire warning systems. This sensing device routes through protected zones in engine nacelles to detect abnormal temperature conditions. When overheat is sensed, the element triggers a cockpit warning to alert flight crew of potential fire hazard.
Installed per aircraft maintenance manual specifications, the detector provides reliable monitoring in piston and turboprop engine installations. Installation and functional testing must follow the airframe manufacturer's fire-detection system instructions.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the FIRE ELEMENT against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The FIRE ELEMENT is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
