The 522-4140-001 is a radar altimeter antenna (437X-1 model) for aircraft low-range radio altimeter systems. Operating in the 4.2–4.4 GHz band, this antenna transmits and receives altitude signals for height-above-ground indication during approach and landing phases. Flush-mounted on the fuselage underside, it provides critical data to the flight deck during low-level operations.
