The 55-0723-1 is a quartz xenon flashtube (EG3773GR) for aircraft anticollision strobe lighting systems. This replacement lamp element fits Grimes/Honeywell beacon and strobe head assemblies, producing the high-intensity flash pulses required for aircraft visibility during flight. The quartz construction withstands thermal cycling and vibration inherent to exterior mounting.
Installation requires removal of the strobe head lens and replacement of the worn flashtube element per the light assembly maintenance manual. Anticollision lighting performance must meet FAA requirements for transport aircraft under 14 CFR §25.1401.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the FLASHTUBE EG3773GR against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The FLASHTUBE EG3773GR is available in: New Surplus. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
