The 6444-1 is a remote directional gyro providing stabilized magnetic heading reference for aircraft avionics systems. This 14-volt unit conforms to FAA TSO-C6 standards for magnetic direction instruments and supports slaved heading systems. Designed for S-TEC ST-180 HSI installations, the gyro mounts remotely in the aircraft and integrates with compatible autopilot and navigation systems.
