The 690a is a non-conductive aircraft insulator for electrical isolation at feed-through bulkheads and structural interfaces. This component prevents unwanted bonding between conductors and airframe structure while maintaining dielectric strength and creepage distance per aircraft wiring standards. Used in avionics systems, electrical harnesses, and control circuits where isolation is required.
Install and torque hardware per FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance and applicable aircraft maintenance manual specifications.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
