Product Description
The 6c2 is a face nut—a threaded fastener with a flat bearing surface for clamping aircraft components. Installed on studs or bolts, it secures brackets and structural attachments in airframe assemblies. The flat face distributes load across a wider area than standard nuts, preventing surface damage to adjacent components.
Typically steel construction for strength and durability. Installation follows manufacturer maintenance manual specifications and FAA AC 43.13-1B practices. Verify part selection in the aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalog before use.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
