The 76-12-501 is a pressure switch that monitors fluid pressure in aircraft systems and triggers an electrical contact at a preset threshold. Using an internal diaphragm or bellows mechanism, it converts pressure changes into discrete on/off signals for warning annunciators and system controls. Commonly installed in engine oil pressure circuits to alert pilots of low-pressure conditions.
The switch interfaces with existing harnesses and mounts per aircraft maintenance manual specifications. Verify compatibility in the Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
