Product Description
The 76983 is a nonmetallic elastomeric grommet that protects wiring, tubing, and cables passing through aircraft structural cutouts. This rubber component shields conductors and lines from sharp edges at bulkhead and firewall penetrations, preventing chafing and abrasion damage during vibration and movement. Installed around feed-throughs in fuselage, wing, and empennage structures, the grommet cushions the passage and maintains electrical and fluid system integrity.
Conforms to MIL-G-3036 specifications and follows AN931/MS35489 standards for aviation applications. Installation per aircraft maintenance manual and FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance.
