The 777-1492-003 is a Collins 51Y-7 Automatic Direction Finder (ADF) receiver for aircraft avionics systems. This LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) processes low-frequency and medium-frequency non-directional beacon signals across the 190–1750 kHz band. Installed in Collins DF-206 ADF system racks, the receiver interfaces with ADF/RMI indicators to provide bearing and navigation data to flight crews.
Before installation, verify DO-160 environmental qualification, FAA approvals per AC 21-16G, and compatibility with your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog.
