The 7g761 is an electromechanical pressure switch that monitors engine oil pressure and triggers warning circuits at preset setpoints. This sealed-contact switch opens or closes an electrical circuit when system pressure reaches the configured threshold, providing real-time pressure status to cockpit instrumentation. Installed in engine oil pressure warning systems on general aviation and corporate aircraft, it connects via AS-standard pressure ports (AS4395/MS33656 or AS5202/MS33649).
Installation requires verification of setpoint calibration and port thread compatibility per the aircraft maintenance manual and illustrated parts catalog.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
