The 8000 B.1 is an airspeed indicator for aircraft pitot-static systems. This flight instrument displays indicated airspeed on a calibrated dial, providing V-speed reference and performance monitoring data for pilots. Mounted in the primary flight instrument panel, it connects directly to pitot and static pressure lines.
The indicator features a mechanical movement with range markings corresponding to the aircraft's certification category. Installation requires proper pitot-static line routing, dial verification, and functional testing per the aircraft maintenance manual and 14 CFR 91.205 requirements.
