Product Description

The 813915 is a nonconductive elastomer terminal cover that shields exposed crimp lugs in aircraft wiring installations. This insulating sleeve slides over ring terminals mounted on contactor studs, preventing accidental contact and reducing abrasion damage during maintenance and operation. Compatible with AS7928-compliant crimp terminals, the cover installs after crimping and torqueing connections per aircraft maintenance manual specifications.

Essential for protecting high-current electrical circuits where exposed terminals pose shorting or grounding risks. Installation follows FAA AC 43.13-1B wiring practices for safe aircraft electrical system maintenance.

Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
