Product Description
The 8500 is an airspeed indicator that displays indicated airspeed in knots on the aircraft panel. It operates via the pitot-static system, receiving dynamic pressure from the pitot tube and static pressure from the static port. This primary flight instrument meets FAA TSO-C2d certification and 14 CFR airworthiness standards for Part 23, 27, and 29 aircraft.
Installation requires connection to pitot and static lines with proper plumbing, range marking per specifications, and calibration following the aircraft maintenance manual and TSO instructions.
