The 861EF1 is an angle of attack (AOA) sensor that measures the wing's relative airflow angle to detect stall conditions. This probe-style sensor feeds real-time AOA data to stall warning systems and autopilot flight control computers via analog or ARINC outputs. Mounted on the fuselage or wing leading edge, it continuously monitors aerodynamic angle during flight operations.
The sensor qualifies to RTCA DO-160 environmental standards and TSO-C54 certification requirements. Installation follows aircraft maintenance manual procedures and any applicable supplemental type certificate (STC) instructions to ensure proper system integration and airworthiness compliance.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
