Product Description

The a-279 is a threaded lubrication fitting (zerk port) for aircraft structural components. This fitting provides a grease access point to bearings and bushings at control-surface hinge points and other articulated joints. Installed into a threaded boss using standard aerospace fastener practices, it accepts a grease gun coupler during scheduled maintenance intervals.

The fitting threads into the structural member, allowing technicians to apply lubricant without disassembly. Verify compatibility with your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation and torque to specification.

Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
