The acm30488 is an aviation hydraulic fuse designed to protect brake and fluid system lines from catastrophic fluid loss. When flow exceeds a preset threshold due to hose rupture or fitting failure, the fuse closes automatically, isolating the damaged section and conserving hydraulic fluid. Installed inline in aircraft brake circuits, it meets SAE AS5466 and AS5467 specifications for flow-sensitive shutoff performance.
Reset procedures vary by aircraft type and must follow the applicable maintenance manual. Verify compatibility with your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation.
