The acm30488 is an aviation hydraulic fuse designed to protect brake and fluid system lines from catastrophic fluid loss. When flow exceeds a preset threshold due to hose rupture or fitting failure, the fuse closes automatically, isolating the damaged section and conserving hydraulic fluid. Installed inline in aircraft brake circuits, it meets SAE AS5466 and AS5467 specifications for flow-sensitive shutoff performance.
Reset procedures vary by aircraft type and must follow the applicable maintenance manual. Verify compatibility with your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog before installation.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the HYDRAULIC FUSE against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The HYDRAULIC FUSE is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
