The AER3019 is an aircraft water detector sensor that identifies free water contamination in fuel systems. Mounted at fuel filters or sumps, this sensor provides electrical alert signals to the flight deck when water is detected, preventing fuel-system icing and filter blockage during flight. The detector monitors fuel continuously and triggers warnings before water accumulation reaches critical levels.
Installation follows aircraft maintenance manual procedures with wiring routed to appropriate flight-deck annunciators. Environmental qualification meets RTCA DO-160 airborne equipment standards for temperature, vibration, and electromagnetic compatibility.
