The AN23-34A is a steel clevis bolt conforming to Aeronautical Standard specifications. A drilled shank through the bolt allows cotter-pin insertion for positive retention in pinned joints. Used in aircraft control systems at bellcrank pivots and actuator connections where shear loads and minimal rotation occur.
