The AN912-1D is an Air Force-Navy pipe bushing that reduces ANPT (Army-Navy Pipe Thread) port sizes for aircraft fluid system connections. This male-to-female threaded reducer adapts larger existing ports to accommodate smaller fittings in hydraulic, fuel, and pneumatic lines. Manufactured to AN912 (AS4842) specifications, the bushing provides a reliable threaded interface for system modifications and component upgrades.
Installation requires threading into the existing ANPT boss and torquing per the aircraft maintenance manual and FAA AC 43.13 guidance.
