Product Description
The AN936-B8 is an external-tooth lock washer manufactured from spring steel to AN936 Type B specifications. This washer resists fastener loosening under vibration by gripping the bolt head or nut surface with its external teeth. Installed under a nut or screw head in aircraft structural and mechanical assemblies, it prevents unintended fastening rotation during flight operations and maintenance cycles.
Per AC 43.13-1B guidance, install a plain washer between the lock washer and material surface, then torque to maintenance manual specifications. Crosses to MS35335 series.
