The ASAPTC34 is a protective cover for 3/4-inch diameter pitot tubes, preventing debris, insects, and moisture contamination during aircraft storage and ground operations. This cover slides over the pitot probe and secures in place, maintaining system integrity when the aircraft is parked. A bright red "Remove Before Flight" streamer attaches to the cover for high visibility during preflight checks, reducing the risk of accidental flight with the cover installed.
Commonly used on general aviation aircraft including Cessna 172 and similar models with standard pitot-static systems. Install after engine shutdown and remove before each flight.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the PITOT TUBE COVER 3/4 DIA against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The PITOT TUBE COVER 3/4 DIA is available in: New Surplus. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
