The ATC-600A is a portable transponder and DME test set for ramp or bench verification of aircraft transponders and distance-measuring equipment. This benchtop unit enables Mode A/C transponder performance checks and DME functional testing per 14 CFR Part 43 Appendix F and §91.413 requirements. Avionics technicians connect the test set via antenna coupling or coax adapters to verify transponder reply accuracy, altitude encoding, and DME signal integrity during periodic maintenance intervals.
The ATC-600A supports compliance verification without removing transponders from the aircraft, streamlining maintenance workflows.
