The B-3368 is a hexagon jam nut designed to lock a primary hex nut under vibration. This thin check nut conforms to AN316/NAS509 jam-nut specifications and is supplied in steel or stainless steel. It installs directly against the mating nut to prevent loosening in aircraft control linkages and rod-end terminal assemblies.
