The C-98801-1 is a spring-loaded lift detector that senses airflow changes near the wing leading edge. As angle of attack increases during approach or maneuvering, an internal vane closes an electrical switch to trigger cockpit stall-warning alerts. This sensor provides pre-stall notification before aerodynamic stall occurs.
Install on the wing leading edge per aircraft maintenance manual specifications. Verify compatibility with your aircraft model and follow FAA guidance for proper installation and adjustment.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
