The c383 is a shutoff valve designed to isolate fluid flow in aircraft fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This valve provides positive cut-off capability to support fire protection protocols and facilitate safe maintenance operations. Installed on fuel supply lines near the firewall, it stops media flow during emergencies or when servicing system components.
The valve meets FAA shutoff requirements outlined in 14 CFR 25.1189 and 29.1189. Installation should follow the Aircraft Maintenance Manual specifications and be verified against the Illustrated Parts Catalog for your aircraft.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the VALVE-SHUTOFF against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The VALVE-SHUTOFF is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
