The CESSNA 310-421 is a wing trailing-edge flap assembly that increases lift during takeoff and landing at reduced airspeeds. This aluminum control surface retracts when not needed to minimize drag during cruise flight. Installed on the wing trailing edge as part of the secondary flight control system, the flap coordinates with the aircraft's control linkage and hydraulic actuation.
Installation and rigging must follow the aircraft maintenance manual and FAA AC 43.13-1B guidance. Verify compatibility with the illustrated parts catalog before installation.
