The Comant CI 105-3 is a DME/transponder antenna designed for L-band avionics operating at 960–1220 MHz. This glass-reinforced polyester radome antenna mounts via three-hole flange with BNC connector interface. FAA TSO-C66b and TSO-C74c certified for Mode A/C/S and ADS-B Out transponder systems.
Installation requires verification of avionics compatibility and adherence to aircraft maintenance manual procedures. Commonly integrated into general aviation and corporate aircraft equipped with distance measuring equipment and secondary surveillance radar systems.
