The cns35a2 is an ADF antenna sensor that receives low-frequency and medium-frequency non-directional beacon signals between 190–535 kHz. This external-mount component works with loop or combined sense/loop antenna configurations to enable bearing computation in automatic direction finder systems. The sensor connects via coupler to the aircraft's ADF receiver, providing the signal input needed for navigation and approach guidance.
Installation and testing must follow the aircraft maintenance manual and ADF system documentation.
