The CS601-2 is a throttle position aural warning switch that mounts on the throttle quadrant or linkage assembly. This low-voltage DC electrical switch senses throttle retard movement and commands an audible alert through the aircraft's warning horn circuit. When the throttle moves below a preset position during approach or landing, the switch changes state to trigger the gear-warning horn, reminding pilots to extend landing gear.
Install per the aircraft wiring diagram and maintenance manual, verifying compatibility with the IPC. Commonly used in general aviation and business aircraft with mechanical throttle linkage systems.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
