The dsc189-4 is a check valve that permits one-way flow while preventing reverse contamination and pressure loss in aircraft systems. This inline valve isolates components and maintains system integrity across fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits. Constructed to MS28884 and MIL-V-7899 specifications, the valve seats automatically when backpressure occurs, blocking reverse flow.
Installation requires proper flow arrow orientation and torque per aircraft maintenance manual guidelines. Critical for protecting system components from contamination and maintaining pressure stability during normal and emergency operations.
Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.

Hydraulic component compatibility depends on the aircraft system design. Common aviation hydraulic fluids include MIL-PRF-5606 (mineral-based), MIL-PRF-83282 (synthetic), and Skydrol (phosphate ester). Verify the VALVE, CHECK against your aircraft maintenance manual for fluid compatibility.
Overhauled and repaired hydraulic components are pressure-tested per manufacturer specifications and include 8130-3 documentation. The VALVE, CHECK is available in: As Removed. Contact us for test documentation on your selected condition.
In-stock hydraulic components ship same business day before 3 PM EST. We provide 24/7 AOG support at (904) 998-9101 for urgent hydraulic system needs. RFQ submissions are typically quoted within 24 hours.
