The g241 is a lead-acid, dry-charged aircraft battery designed for engine starting and electrical system power. Shipped in dry condition without electrolyte, it requires activation with sulfuric acid solution before installation. Once charged, it supplies cranking power for engine ignition and maintains standby power for avionics and cockpit systems during flight operations.
