The GA17830 is a solenoid-operated anti-icing valve that controls bleed-air flow to aircraft anti-ice manifolds. This pneumatic control valve routes heated engine bleed air to engine inlets, windshields, and other surfaces requiring ice protection during flight. The valve operates as a remote shutoff device within ice-protection systems, responding to electrical signals from flight deck controls.
Installed inline with ducting, it connects to pneumatic and electrical circuits. Verify NSN 4810-01-112-9378 compatibility and aircraft-specific installation requirements before use.
